Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although this speaker is good, I wouldn't recommend using it for a large TV. You laptop maybe, but I would invest in a larger speaker or sound bar for quality TV sound.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can confirm that this speaker handles streaming movies and TV shows from an iPhone 6 very well. I've watched Netflix, Hulu Plus and movies stored on the iPhone with no problems. That said, most speakers should be able to handle streaming media well, since what's being sent to the speaker isn't the picture but just the audio track. If you are having problems, it may not be the speaker, it may be your device. It could also be interference from nearby Bluetooth devices, especially if they are connected to your phone/tablet/computer. So before you ditch your Jam speaker for a more-expensive one, consider whether you're getting interference from other Bluetooth gear or if your device simply isn't strong enough to handle sending Bluetooth audio to your speaker while playing a movie at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I travel with the SRS-X3. It's a little bigger but packs a huge sound. Surprising bass response. I have been on a few cruises and used it with my Mac Book Pro. It has never frozen or let me down. I have never used it with Netflix because I can't access it outside of the U.S.; however, I did stream GenieGo from a hotel room in Tahiti to my Mac Book Pro without a hitch.
