Q: QuestionI am looking for a recorder that I can tape my study guides for class and then listen while I am cleaning my house or just relaxing so that I can prepare exams. Will this one work for me?

• A:Answer Yes. Two caveats - it will likely work better with *wired* headphones (vice the tiny speaker), and it does not have a belt clip that I know of, so you might need a little pouch. It also uses alkaline batteries, so unless you have rechargeable ones, that is an added expense.

• A:Answer Contact Sony customer service. They will help talk you through how to fix it. Or replace it. I had a problem where I set it up to record on an SD card, yet it recorded on the internal memory instead. I called and they talked me through how to transfer from the internal memory to the SD card. The icon that was supposed to show up on the voice recorder did not. They said they would replace it. I just bought it and exchanged it at Best Buy. It is a great recorder!
