A refurbished or Factory re-certified unit is one which has been through a complete re-work, and has been returned to original factory specifications. It has then been through inspection and is factory certified. Any cosmetic flaws have also been repaired, which makes this replacement like factory new, both cosmetically and electronically. The Factory re-certified unit has been repackaged with all of the accessories and supplied materials which come with a new unit. There are several types of refurbishment processes. Refer to the dealer selling the product for information on what refurbishment process the product has been through. Products being sold as refurbished or factory recertified should be labeled as such.
