Don't see why not has port behind speaker

You can charge a USB device, such as a smartphone or iPhone, by connecting it to the speaker via USB. Even if the speaker is not connected to an AC outlet, its built-in battery can supply power to a USB device. If you haven't tried yet, please follow the steps below and see if it resolves the problem: 1. Please use a different Lightning® cable manufactured by Apple to charge your iPhone to the speaker. 2. If the speaker is being powered by the built-in battery only, turn on the speaker to charge your iPhone. The (power) indicator lights up in green and the speaker starts supplying power to the connected USB device for battery charging. 3. You may also try connecting different smartphone or iPhone to isolate the issue.
