QuestionI want to mount this unit to the roll bar of my side by side UTV using heavy duty zip ties, will this work and will this unit play loud enough to drown out engine noise at normal speeds on gravel roads and trails. Is it shock resistant.

- Answer Hi Trapper, yes, this speaker is loud enough to block out engine noise at normal speeds on gravel roads and trails. We do not recommend using zip ties to mount this unit as it may not be stable enough especially when you're driving through rough terrain. It is shockproof, it can withstand drops from up to 4ft.
