The AN1000 actually has 3 zones. Go to the Sony website and download the user manual to learn how it works and see if it will work for your setup.

Further "speakers throughout house" could b problematic depending on how many ur driving simultaneously. Suggest u look at web manual on Sony site. While there look at connections on rear panel. It is a sweet unit. I like mine even though their r some limitations.
