QuestionI would like to use a current sound bar that I own (LG brand) that includes a wireless subwoofer, as my center and subwoofer on the system, then use the Insignia brand speaker pairs as my 4 other speakers...is it possible to do that? Thanks in advance!

It has a Bluetooth receiver and not a Bluetooth transmitter. You can only receive audio from a WALKMAN, smartphone, or tablet that has a BLUETOOTH function and listen to the received audio content via this receiver. We also recommend using speaker wires that are anywhere between 12 to 16 gauge. These are most commonly used for connecting speakers to an amplifier or an AV receiver. If a phono input is not available, the turntable must have a built-in amplifier or an in-line amplifier must be used to connect the turntable to another input on the stereo system. When matching speakers and Audio/Video (A/V) receivers, the ohm rating of the speaker should be equal to or greater than the ohm rating of the receiver to avoid a risk of hardware damage. Any speakers that feature bare wire connection will work to this receiver, as long as their impedances are from 6 to 16 ohms. The AV receiver has a 3.5mm headphone port. QuestionCan my Samsung QLED Q70A TV remote be synced to turn this receiver on and off when the TV is turned on and off?

- Answer No. You can not sync it with your Samsung television. The receiver will not turn completely off. However, when you turn the television off the led located on the left of the receiver will turn from green to red indicating that it is in rest mode and not receiving an active load.

QuestionThe DH590 would be a replacement for my old Onkyo surround sound system. The Onkyo front speakers and sub woofer would be wired. The system had wired rear surround speakers. My preference is for compatible wireless speakers for the rear. Suggestions?

QuestionWhy is my receiver getting so hot? After about 5-10 minutes of playing music it will go into protect mode and shut off. It is also in an open area. Is there something I can do to prevent this?

- Answer Verify that there is no short at your speaker terminals at the receiver and at the speakers. Sometimes a strand or two of the wiring will touch the adjacent terminal causing you to have to turn the volume way up. If you have no shorts, sounds like you need to return the unit for a replacement.
