QuestionBefore i make a purchase i need to know if this blue ray can play MP4 videos from a USB drive? it says in the description that it supports MP4 but i guess that would be the case if it played from a DVD. Also, will it play AVi video files from a USB?

- Answer Yes,this player will play mp3, mp4 and mkv movie and music files from a usb. I do it all the time. It will also play a avi. file from a xvid container.

- Answer I should clarify that the DVD player is at a rental property so the users are different each week. This a phone app is not the best solution unfortunately. The DVD player has no player button on the machine.

- Answer I had the same problem. If you’re connecting wirelessly you may need to set up a static address. Sounds like you may have another wireless device trying to use the same address.

- Answer No, there is no support for DivX™, only XviD. However, there is an easy workaround to get this player to play DivX files: (Does not work with DivX™ VOD) 1) If the file extension is *.divx -change that into *.avi 2) Change the DivX™ -encoded AVI file's existing FourCC code "DIVX" or "DX50" into "XVID" using a free app, such as "FourCC Changer", which will only take a few seconds to do, and the file should play just fine after that!

- Answer There is a difference between YouTube app and YouTube TV app. VERY FEW devices have the YouTube TV app because it is so new. It is not currently downloadable from any website to this device. You must have the YouTube TV app to watch TV with the new YouTube TV subscription. (as of 6/7/2020 still not available)

QuestionMy Mitsubishi 154 series manual says it requires a "compatible USB wireless adapter"; does this include my NEW BDP-S3700 that does have a USB slot on the front. My tv screen won't stop flashing...thinking might need that adapter! HELP!

QuestionConnected my Sony DVD player by HDMI to a converter (resolution scaler) and the converter to my older TV by component cables. All is perfect expect I have a split image on the screen when using the DVD player. Any suggestions to fix?
