- Answer Hi Beth0824, this Bluray player uses Cinavia technology. The "Code 3" message that you're getting means that you're playing an unauthorized copy of a professionally-produced content. There is a huge possibility that you will get the "Code 3" message on all players that use Cinavia technology. Thanks, -Mark

- Answer Absolutely, that is the preferred way to connect. There should be an HDMI connector for this on your receiver.

- Answer You should have a small usb cable that comes in the box. It connects to any usb port on your TV or you can plug it into a power brick and connect it to a wall outlet.

QuestionCan one connect this blu ray player directly to an already existing home theater system? I had an old version of this player and the speakers and all still work the player itself quit.

- Answer No..it does not have a place for older RCS jacks to be plugged in...see photo...at the back it has a 12 volt power port to power the dvd player, next to it is the LAN ( 100) port, next is the HDMI port, and finally the Digital out coanial In front a USB port

- Answer As per the box, yes it is wireless. As far as cords, It may depend on your TV. I have an HDMI cord (not included) connected because my flat screen is not a smart TV.
