Unfortunately not. Maybe someday. Physical discs require a physical connection.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This player has WiFi connectivity that will transfer content wirelessly. So the answer depends what content you are trying view. If you are trying to view a Blu-ray 4K movie from a disc that you own then the answer is “no”. You need 4K cables that go between the 4K Sony Player and a 4K television. If you want to experience surround sound then an audio receiver is required along with multiple speakers. Some systems can do this wirelessly for audio but then receiver and speakers must all be from one brand/manufacturer. I use wired speakers from different brands that specialize in different functions.
