  • QuestionDoes this model have support for HDR10+?

      Answered by TonyR

  • QuestionWhat happens if you play an HDR-10 blu ray disc on the Dolby Vision setting? If you forget to switch the setting.

    Asked by ScottF.

    • Answer The answer to the question is... don't do it because the picture will look terrible. The colors will be clearly off the mark if you do that. I did that by mistake with the Sony UBP 800M2, which is the one right over this one, and the picture looked terrible, causing me to suspect something was wrong with the 4K disc. Come to find out, I didn't turn off DV, and the player was trying to do something to the disc that the disc wasn't going along with. So when I purchased this one, that's something you just have to remember to do. I wish they would put a auto setup for DV, but for whatever reason, it hasn't happened yet.

  • QuestionDoes this remote allow frame-by-frame slow-motion scanning?

    Asked by Chris.

    • Answer Yes. It does have a slow motion feature, but I think that actual frame-by-frame requires repeated pressing of the pause button.
