“can the right ear bud be used by its self, i am unable to get it to work. left ear bud work fine by its self, but why are audio calls not in stereo? left ear only? deal breaker it so....back they go.”

This was answered in connection with a different question earlier. It seems that only the left ear bud works during a phone call. It is designed that way.
