QuestionHow come the Sony WH-1000XM4 is so loud when you have them off and playing music? This means anybody around me would be able to hear my music and I can’t figure out how to make it loud In my ears but the people around me can’t hear what I’m listening to

- Answer What? These headphones are not that loud when playing, and Sonys sound quality has diminished to non existence.

QuestionHello, I received a new pair of the WH-1000XM4 and cannot figure out how to make the right side work. I went to online forums to see how others have troubleshooted this issue (like making sure the "Mono" setting is off) but to no avail. Thank you.

- Answer Mine broke as I was taking them off. And there are a lot of reviews on Reddit, Sony community and even on Best Buy about the issue with the hinge breaking while putting it on or taking it off. Go with apple! - Answer We bought 2 pair and as of yesterday one pair will not hold a charge anymore...or even turn on. We tried many diff similar fast charge chargers we have for other devices as well as checking to see if my set's cord would work. To no avail. Warrenty now. But FYI they do not "replace" your item. It is misleading. Sony states it would replace PARTS that could be avail for replacement and then they use refurbished, not new, parts. If no repair, they send the same or similar product not guranteeing there will even original markings on it. I've had these since March of this year and am going to be quite upset if they need to replace them with a diff kind??? Well, another catch, if they cant be repaired replacement comes from a refurbished inventory. NOT brand new replacements. AS THEY SHOULD! my opinion cuz these things aren't cheap. Who wants to spend that money and end up with a refurbished rather than new replacement for product defect. Ok. I'm done.

QuestionHow is the music leakage? can others around hear what you are listening too if turned all the way up? (i always turn mine all the way and never find one that doesn’t leak)

- Answer My husband and are musicians and we both have a pair. I listen on a variety of devices...studio headphones, monitors, car stereo. I love being able to sit about 2 ft from my guy and listen to music we're individually working on with neither of us hearing the other when one of us isn't wearing them. These things are great.

- Answer If you have a smart tv/bluetooth there should be no problem. You just scan and pair as any other device. I am saying this as I havent had a prob with it. So I would think that answer is right!!!

- Answer I would definitely take them back and have them checked out. Or just return them if you believe they are defective. The only sound that comes from my left ear cuff is the voice saying the product has been turned on/off.

QuestionMy ears fit inside of the apple airpod max, ( I have big ears). Will big ears fit inside of these or be pressed down? My ears get super hot after awhile and start to hurt with other headphones. so if these accommodate big ears I’m in!

- Answer My guy has big ears and can never keep buds in comfortable and be mobile. He loves these and has no complaints. We've only each had a pair for 2 mnths but we use them multiple times dailey and at night reviewing music mixes we've made. Point being, he has even mowed the front and back very large yard with them on, no complaints. Hope that somewhat helps! Good luck!

- Answer Hi Penny, Thanks for your inquiry! You can use the equalizer on the Sony Headphones Connect App to reduce the bass using your smartphone first, then connect your Headphones to your TV. The changes that you have made on the app should be stored in the Headphones even after you've connected the headphones to your TV. Hope this helps! -Sam
