Yes! You can have them on normal. Through the app! (Sound connect)

Yes, you can completely turn off both the noise cancelling and ambient sound features on the WH-CH720N by either using the NC/AMB button on the headphones to cycle through the modes until both are disabled or by using the Sony | Sound Connect app to select the "OFF" setting for both functions.
