“I have the Sony 400. Even after a full charge and only 1 too 2 hrs. Of use if I turn them off I can not turn them on again until I charge them again. I checked for batteries at the headphones and found none. What’s wrong????? Can you tell me what to do.”

Battery is built in. You have a warranty issue. I hope you can claim under warranty. Playback should work about 5-6 hrs. I have a pair of headphones that still work 5 hrs that are 10 years old.
