“Is the connecting wire comfortable? Is the wire that wraps around the back comfortable? Everyone's head/neck is different but I'm concerned that the wire might flap around on my neck while I'm running and get really annoying.”

Yes it has a sort of a small clip to secure to the back of your head. Like the Beats
