A:AnswerActually I had to call Sony TV customer service .. The sound of the TV came from the program on TV and not the VCR or Netflix. The service rep help me program the TV internal so I could hear on my headset what was actually playing on the TV. Call your TV manufacturer customer service. They understood exactly what problems I was having and in 10 minutes with a few clicks here and there everything solved.

A:AnswerYes, this is possible. When I use my headphones I turn the TV volume to zero and adjust the headphone volume control to what I want. I will also listen to the TV using it's speakers and sound comes out of both the TV and the headphone speakers.
Note: I plug my headphone transmitter into the audio out headphone connector on a Samsung HDTV. I do not know if this will work with RCA connectors but I would imagine so.

A:AnswerI'm pretty certain that you can run dual headsets as long as you buy the exact same models. I've done this with my old headphones and I would think you could with these as well. Unfortunately, you will probably have to buy two complete sets with tower/chargers, but the benefit to that is that you can charge both sets of headphones at the same time. One will be plugged into the TV and the other will only be plugged into a wall outlet. The only thing you'll have to do is make sure the second set is tuned to the same channel as the first set, which is no big deal and easy to do.
A:AnswerMy guess is that this is an extraneous frequency being injected & amplified. Yes annoying, but in my experience, it only happens infrequently, & only when you are going to start using them. In your case I'd check the cables, make sure all connections are good. A bad connection, plug, or cable can cause what you are experiencing. If after replacing the cables the issue persists, make sure the battery has been well charged. Otherwise it could just be a faulty set you got.
A:AnswerThe IR Transmitter that send the signal to the headset requires a power source. So, unless you have a plug on the flight I doubt it would work.
