Turn off Nightmode in your sound bar and turn up the bass level in it aswell, they may help. Looking at the wattage of the speakers, they are not going to get super loud but with the right movie(any 4K), trailer(Dead Pool 2 teaser 2), video game (Destiny 2), and comedy show on Nextflix, You will hear them get real loud. You will find yourself turning them down. I have mine set 2 feet away from my center seat. At first. I felt like you and didnt like them. Then I discovered Nextflix, PS4 PRO games and it changed my perspective. I hated them first, then I fell in love with them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem when I set them up. The surround sound was coming out very low. I eventually googled and found an answer that worked for me. I have my SRS-ZR5 (2) hooked up to the HT-NT5. You have to do an update for the two ZR5 speakers. Temporarily disconnect the wireless surround from the NT5 sound bar then go to each individual speaker and take a look on the back of speaker then hit the update button (WPS). It will automatically do the update on your speakers. (Make sure you do this to both speakers). Then go back into sound bar menu and reconnect the wireless surround sound. I have them set up at 10db and distance at 2.5 feet. Also last week I just got each speaker for $99.00 each and just bought two more for price match. So I have 4 of the ZR5 speakers for $430.00 out the door. Very happy and hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Set the distance the 6 feet, it would make it more accurate.
