- Answer Hi Chris, the range for Wi-Fi functions up to a distance of 5m only or 16.40ft. We can not guarantee the effectivity of the Wi-Fi connection if it will be longer than that range. Best regards, Zander

QuestionDo the remote require WiFi to work the Camera? How far can you be from the camera and still use the remote? Thanks

- Answer Hi Brown, yes, it does. You can connect both devices using the WiFi Direct technology of the camera itself, no need to be near a Home or Public network. You can use the remote from 10-15 ft away from the camera. Thanks_Mitch
