Mine doesn't do that at 50% battery charge. However, the sound quality deteriorates at few minutes before the battery is completely discharged.

Please try again later.Yea this of course happens to me as well i love my music and my srs xb40, i realized that when the battery is low, the vollume as well goes low and i have connected the charger but the vollume does not go amy louder even with the charger connected lol Answer is, Dont waste your time resseting it all you have to do is have the charger connected and push the power button to turn it off and then push the power button again to turn it back on, only this time its powered on with the charger connected to it, now just turn up the vollume. =]

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is normal. If the sound is heard low usually it is a sign that the speaker needs to be recharge. It happen to me though. I didn’t know what’s going on with my speaker because no matter how high I put the volume was, I notice that didn’t make any difference at all, it is still heard low, until I figured it out what’s going on. Lol so don’t worry, you just have to recharge it.
