I cannot speak for ipad air2 or macbook, but for iphone these headphones work great with my motorola razer

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as your iPad and iPhone are on iOS 10 they will work and they will work with your Mac as well. Total price is $173.19 without any Apple Care. I ordered mine on the 7th of this month and according to UPS I should receive them on the 9th of this month. Apple says they should last you 5 hours of listening to music, or 2 hours of talk time, and if you place the AirPods in the charging case throughout the day you should get 24 hours of listening. hope this helps.
