Hi Sibi, Thank you for your question. The majority of Sony phones come with two upgrades and two years of patches. Please know that Google owns and maintains the Android operating system and is responsible for creating and issuing both upgrades and patches. You should update the software on your device to get the latest functionality, enhancements, and bug fixes in order to ensure optimal performance. When a software update is available, System update icon appears in the status bar. You can also check for new updates manually. The easiest way to install a software update is to do it wirelessly from your device. To check for new software: Find and tap [Settings] > [System] > [Software update]. Combining hand-fit design with exceptional power and performance, the Xperia 5 IV is tailor-made for creativity on the go – from high-quality video recording and photography to mobile gaming and live streaming. Immerse yourself in a stunning FHD+ HDR OLED 120Hz Refresh rate display, with no notches on the 6.1" 21:9 Wide display to interrupt your view. So you can lose yourself completely in your favorite movies and TV shows. -Ralph
