Q: QuestionThis has already been asked, but not answered. When will the xz2 compact be in Best Buy stores so we can examine it and compare it to other phones before buying it? Seems like a simple enough question to get an answer to.
Asked by Jake.
- A:Answer They "use" to have it on display (i was able to see a Demo early October 2018). As of November 6, 2018 , the stores local to me have removed the XZ2 Compact from the stores to probably make room for the new XZ3. They still have the regular XZ2 on display however. If you are lucky they may still have the XZ2 Compact behind the counter if you ask (that was my case a few weeks ago)

Q: QuestionDoes the phone come pre-installed with a bunch of unnecessary apps which can't be un-installed?
Asked by Eric.
- A:Answer Not really. It has a few Google and Sony "gimmick" type of apps. You can disable them but not uninstall. The only non Sony\Google apps is AVG Security app which can only be disabled as well. But it isn't bad compared to other devices.

Q: Questiondoes it work with Verizon ?
Asked by Piotrek.
- A:Answer Phone absolutely works with Verizon. Took me a few days to figure out what was wrong and it had nothing to do with the Sony. I was coming from a Samsung S4 mini and that phone doesn't support HD calling (VoLTE). On day one everything but calling worked, and the Verizon store and level 1 tech had no clue how to fix it. Finally spoke with a level2 tech and he forced HD to be enabled, phone calling immediately worked. Phone works absolutely wonderful on verizon. So happy with this Sony. If you struggle, call in and get yourself to a level 2 tech, they can get you squared away.
