• Tried to set phone up online and got to the final step and got denied. Went in to Verizon Store and they couldn't figure out was was wrong, I got texts and internet but no phone. After reading this post I used the chat on My Verizon and once they enabled HD Calling (it was active on all other lines except my Sony XZ2 Compact) I started receiving phone calls. Phone works great now, Thanks for the tip, and hope this helps others.

• HD is on by default for the phone since it's VoLTE. If your account doesn't have this enabled at the carrier you need to call them and get that fixed. Phone works great and is an awesome replacement for a Samsung mini S4.

• I forgot to mention you have to activate the phone which I was able to do online after popping in the SIM card. And to add the HD calling (HD Voice), you have to be logged in to your primary account. Then go under My Plan & Services-->Manage Products & Apps-->Manage Your Products-->Select HD Voice. You may already have it set up but check to see. Hope this helps.
