• I checked XDA forums and several members purchased the XZ2 from BestBuy but VoLTE doesn't work. They are considering to return the phone.

• I completed a chat session with a T-Mobile representative on Tuesday who confirmed that the XZ2 is certified to work on T-Mobile's network, including VoLTE. According to the spec sheet on phonearena, it does not support Band 71.
