“I just got my new laptop HP spectre x360 13-ae012dx. It has only one USB-A port but I need more. I have tried one usb travel hub to extend (USB-A to four USB 3.0 ports), but it doesn't work! Could you recommend some compatible USB HUB, USB-C HUB, DOCKS ?”

Notebook port is USB C. Look on www.newegg.com and under these devices you can specify input and outputs for hubs., Then check manufacturer's web site for specific device to be sure. Look for Thunderbolt support. There are not a lot of them but thanks to Apple there are some.
