This would be difficult to troubleshoot in this forum. If there is anything at all wrong with the computer the Geek Squad will take care of it for you. If you do not have Geek Squad protection I would reach out to the HP support team to see if it is covered under the 1 year warranty for defects. Here's the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In my case the pointer just froze and had to keep restarting the laptop. I returned the laptop within 2 weeks of purchase and got a similar one. The current one appears to be doing okay with the pointer though I’ve not engaged it in heavy tasks. However, the browsers keep freezing for reasons I’ve not figured out.
