- Answer Unfortunately, as with most ultra thin 2-in-1's and Mac Books, there is no Kensington security lock port to connect a standard notebook computer anti theft device. There are some small portable devices made for MacBooks and UltraBook PC's that are similar in size and functionality. They have a detachable part with a thin blade like piece that slides between the hinges in the gap between the base and display of the computer. The piece then clicks into a locking device that's connected to a security cable. Just be careful picking one out and to use them properly since they can damage your display if the lid is not carefully closed while the lock is still attached. I did a quick search and was not able to find any such device on this site, but they are carried on other retailer sites. To see some for yourself google for MacBook locks if you have issues finding anything specific for the HP Spectre X360 models.

- Answer The discrete graphics adapter in this model is an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. For reference this information is listed under the "Features" section of the product page. If you want to imagine comparing it to desktop class adapters, such as the GeForce GTX 1080 you mentioned, then it would probably be a GeForce GTX 1030ti, if one existed, since it is basically a faster version of the GTX 1030 GPU.

QuestionCD/DVD read/write. I have not bought a computer in years, and see this model does not come with a built-in CD/DVD reader/writer. My MS office, photoshop and Lightroom programs are on CD/DVD. How can I load these? Is there an external reader for this?

- Answer It’s comes with discrete NVidia MX150 card, it cannot be swapped out. You can however use an external EGPU with this laptop.

QuestionIs the keyboard backlit like the other Spectre's out there? I can't see the answer to this in the description at all. It would be odd if it weren't, but a big disappointment to buy it only to find out that they added a numberpad and removed lighted keys.

- Answer The big difference is the 4K display, the more expensive one has a 4K display which is beautiful, the brightest i have ever seen on a laptop, way better than the Dell with 4K display, even at 70-80%, it gives you the brightness the other computer give at 100%

- Answer Dissapointed. Nothing has been changed. This screen is made by cheap Chinese BOE company. Model: BOE06C3. I have canceled the transaction. This screen suffers from PWM. PWM Frequency here is 1000Hz at any brightness level. For those who do suffer from side effects including headaches and eye strain there is an explanation at least

QuestionJust purchased this laptop and noticed the lower left side of the track pad will move slightly and click without registering a click. Push a little harder and it will click again and register the click. Is this normal or should i return it?

- Answer I had the same issue with 2 of them, returned both (Model: 15-CH011DX, SKU: 6188321). Track pad felt loose with the slightest touch, no matter where you touched it. Push a little harder and then it clicked. I use my laptop a lot for work so this was way too annoying for me to put up with, especially for the price. I hope this issue gets resolved soon. Otherwise, I loved the laptop. Will probably wait a month or two until I try another one.

QuestionHow do I open the back of this laptop to replace/upgrade the RAM without damaging the case? Are there only two screws?

- Answer This computer has more than two screws on the back, Under the back rubber strip, there should be a few more, i dont know if its 2 or 4, but it has more, after you get the screws out, you will need to pry it open, be VERY careful when you do this, get a plastic took so you will not damage it, there are many YouTube videos that shows you step by step how to upgrade this beast

QuestionWhen the monitor/screen is on, it gives out a light humming noise. It can be heard when you are in a quiet room. Does anyone else have this issue? It changes slightly when I adjust the screen brightness, & the noise goes away when the screen turns off

- Answer Try changing the setting for the video cards, if you have it with the NVIDIA card running all the time, it will require more cooling, try to set it for balanced, that way you only need the Nvidia one when you truly need it, try to update the bios also, that may help
