An update to Special Edition:
this version of BB8 is a "Battle Worn" design, as opposed to the original version's "new" or "clean" look. 
The Watch Me feature has been updated to include Rogue One.

The band is supposed to work with other sphero robots that include Bluetooth SMART (according to Sphero).

Thus one is the battle worn addition, wich gives it a cooler look and the surface has some texture allowing it to move a little better on carpet.

The base it sits in is the charger, and it comes with two micro USB cords for charging.
