It’s winter, so I have not tried the lawn, but I don’t think I would want too. It transitions from hard wood to carpet no problem. Wood deck also no problem. I did not do concrete because I don’t want to scratch it. And I probably wouldn’t try the lawn because the manual says to keep it clean.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.BB8 works best on a smooth surface - like hardwoods or linoleum; but it works well on carpet too. Have not tried it on the deck or lawn.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not so good on carpet but very good on everything else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On carpet, if the pile is short, like an area rug yes. Long pile plush carpet, no. Concrete, yes, but it will scratch the surface of your droid... Hmmm... sort of like the battle worn model... Wood Deck, yes, but stay away from the edge, it's a poor flyer! If your lawn is like a putting green, short and tight, yes, most lawns, no. I used mine to push in a putt, worked great, lost a stroke! Smooth floor (as in kitchen) Ideal! We use our BB-8 and BB-9E on the kitchen floor and they work great!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, sucks on carpet
