• Hey, Mamas! Your Magstripe reader should be able to read chip cards, but you can get the Contactless and Chip Reader which pairs through Bluetooth and will read chips.

• Square sells a device for contactless payment which also has a chip reader. Search SQUARE READER on bestbuy.com or ask to see the display when you are at the store.

• I’ve used the swipe readers on cards with chips and have had no issues, I would contact square.

• The wireless reader is best for cards with a chip. Easier than swiping. Takes me less time for a transaction.

• Get the square chip reader version. You insert in rather than swipe it.
