• Hi, Kab! Thanks for reaching out. You do have to have a business to use Square. This can be a personal business used to sell goods or a service, but you cannot use Square to collect debts between friends. If you are looking to use it for that purpose then we would recommend looking into the Square Cash app. :)

• No, you can accept payments to yourself - funds are deposited directly to your bank account.

• Nope. Square takes a small percentage off the amount charged. There is no recurring fee or anything, throw it in a drawer, pull it out when someone owes you money.
