• Yes the "router" includes a wifi access point. So anyplace you can get the WiFi signal you will get internet access. The app is used to configure the "dishy" device and set up your account.

• Yes, it provides wi-fi to any standard device. The download is for the app that allows you to control it. Only one device needs to have the app -- all the others can simply login through wi-fi settings.
