As a internet service provider? (Like providing internet connection to smart home devices) If so, yes you can. If you’re asking listing the starlink as a smart home device? Then no. If your smart home devices are not WiFi enabled and only Ethernet based, you’ll have to setup your starlink to a router or a network switch Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The kit includes the wifi router and dish if the smart home needs ethernet will require adding the starlink ethernet adaptor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say yes. As with any other ISP, its is simply supplying a connection to the internet. I have an ORBI Mesh network and will be using it as it it was a cable modem into my ORBI router. Thus, not as a router, but more like a modem. This has been done by others as well. Even in an RV. I will be containing to use Home Assistant as well as Amazon Echo and Google devices. There should be no issues using it for home automation. I suggest running all you network items and Starlink on a UPS if you want portions of your home to stay alive in a power outage. Good luck...
