Can the antenna just be aimed out a window? null

No it needs a clear view of the sky.

If you windows are tinted, they probably have metallic particles embedded which would attenuate the signal.

I belive this can be if you have a way to securely attach it.

I’m sure you could but you would probably have a lot of things obstructing your view for a signal
