QuestionI need to set up dual screens. Right now I have a VGA split cable but all it does is duplicate the original screen. Would the Display port to vga video converter be what I needed in order to achieve the extended screen with a second monitor???

- Answer You need to go into your display settings and change it to extend. On windows you can also press the windows key and the letter p to change dual monitor mode.

QuestionI keep seeing differences in these converters (i.e. VGA to HTMI or HTMI to VGA). My intention is to use a HTMI TV to display my computer's VGA image. Many are presenting these converters as being mutually natural in signal distribution. Are they?
