• Yes it would for xbox one games.. However for series x games you still would not be able to play direct from this ssd.

• You can use the USB3S2SAT3CB with a connected drive to store Xbox Series X/S games. You will not be able to play the games from the drive though. Xbox One games can be stored and played from the drive. Brandon, StarTech.com Support
