If you purchase in store you're not guaranteed a steelbook; its a preorder bonus. If you preorder here on the site and set it for pickup, your steelbook will be picked at random by an inventory associate as they're scanning the games. However, if you're nice to your pickup associate there's a good chance they'd be willing to give you the one you want. Its usually all about how you ask.

I've actually had only good experiences with Best Buy employees. Just be honest with the employee you're talking to and see what happens. They certainly won't hassle you regardless.

No hassling necessary, since you aren't able to choose which casing you receive upon ordering. Totally distributed at random for everyone.
