“When researching this headset I have seen numerous cases of the mic dying on people after just under or over a year. If theoretically this were happen to me, is the mic replaceable or repairable?”

I don't see how you would replace the mic without some serious hacking up of the headset itself. So, that's gonna be a no from me dog.
