• A:Answer It is required to be able to use it without bluetooth. But if you plan to only use it with Bluetooth, you'll be fine. As an alternative to the dongle, you can use the cords that come with it, but it kinda defeats the purpose of a wireless headset.

• A:Answer It may work, but you may not be able to use all the features. To be sure, SteelSeries has a different version known as the Arctis Nova 5X, which is designed for Xbox. Unfortunately, last I checked Best Buy doesn't have it so you'd have to buy it from another vendor.
