It's USB powered. So you plug it in your HDMI output on the back of the TV then run the cord from the Roku stick to a USB in the back of the tv to power it. Hope it helps

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only part that needs batteries is the remote. The Stick has a wall adapter, but if your TV has a USB port, you might be able to use that for a less cluttered power setup; that's what we did with a ceiling-mounted Acer projector.
