• Yes. Subscriber paid channels require paid subscription, but there are many other free channels on Roku. Netflix is subscriber paid.

• Yes - for example, I already had a Netflix account when I got my Roku so I just signed in

• You do have to pay for premium channels such as HBO, Showtime, Disney etc.
