“How can you use a Roku when you have a flat screen tv and it is mounted on the wall? There is very little space between the wall and the back of the tv. Less than 2". The HDMI access is behind my TV and I can not plug it in with the space allowed.”

Your TV does not have any HDMI ports on the side or bottom that are not facing the wall? They offer an adapter, for free, that you can get from Roku for this exact purpose. https://my.roku.com/HDMI
