It should work just fine. I have an old Sony TV that has no streaming capabilities at all, which is why I bought the Roku stick. Now I can stream just about anything, including Disney +. I’m not sure about the iPad, but I would think it would work as long as you can plug the stick in either directly or with an adapter.

Yes, The Roku will download the Disney+ for viewing. You would have to download the Disney+ app to your Ipad but I am not sure if it will cast to another source.
