A:AnswerNo required charges. You may be able to get some extra reports if you log in on line instead of through the app but I have never looked at that. Everything I am interested in can be viewed in the app on my phone.
I can view usage by year, month and day. I can even see how much water was used hourly during a particular day.
Note that if you lose internet connection data will not be collected during that time.
I have not incurred any monthly fees.
A:AnswerYou will get alarms and you can turn the valve open or closed even if you are not home as long as the unit has access to the internet. The water will automatically be shut off if the system detects a leak. You can turn the water back on even if you are not at home.
