• IN general: lead acid batteries: keep fully charged NiCd: keep fully discharged NiMH: doesnt matter too much but 50% is good idea for storage. (they self discharge fairly quickly) Liion: keep battery between 40 and 60 percent charge for storage. don't fully discharge if possible, and use right away if fully charged.
