We definitely don't recommend installing indoor TVs outdoors. Just check the manual on the indoor TV for warnings about this. Please consider a TV that's designed specifically for outdoor use.
If your looking at an inside installation, you'd need to make sure the mount's VESA pattern, extension length, and weight rating are appropriate for the TV you'll be pairing it with.
