“We are about to have lots of pollen. I feel like we should cover the tv so that we don't get the pollen in it. However, the weather i getting nice and I don't want a hassle of covering and uncovering it. Help!”

Hi Sandy. Thanks for your question and for your interest in SunBriteTV products. I understand your concern about pollen. However, although your question is posted under the SunBriteTV dust cover, I think the biggest question here is "What kind of TV are you using outdoors?". If it's a SunBriteTV, then don't worry. Pollen is child's play for our products. All of our models are made to be permanently installed outdoors, and can handle rain, snow, extreme temperatures, insects, dust, dirt, AND pollen. SunBriteTVs do not require a cover, but some people do choose to purchase the optional cover to help keep it clean. The covers are designed specifically for SunBriteTVs and are not waterproof (since the TV's already built to resist rain!). If you have a SunBriteTV and choose not to go with a cover, you can always clean the TV as needed if it becomes "pollenated" (see simple cleaning instructions in product manual). If you are using an indoor TV outdoors, the cover will not be sufficient (and you may have bigger worries than pollen). Indoor TVs are not designed for outdoor use (just check the indoor TV manual for the hazards associated with installing in outdoor conditions). Hope this information is helpful! Happy outdoor living.
