Will this remote work on a 1997 f150 ford null

This is a aftermarket viper alarm and it will not work with a ford manufactured product

This is just a spare remote that only works with Dei alarms. Such as the Viper brand sold at Best Buy. Dei alarms are universal and can be installed on most vehicles. If you have an alarm but are unsure of what type then you'll need someone to check your vehicle. If you happen to have a Dei brand alarm then you can search for the remotes that match your model number. Also, you can go in to Best Buy and on the back of the package it shows the different types of Dei alarms this remote is compatible with.
