• A:Answer Hello TV Guy, The Flare 4G booster comes with 50ft of antenna cable. In the US we kit with 50ft of RG-6 cable and 50ft approximates 4dB of low-band line loss. Can you use longer cable... YES. We would recommend upgrading to 100ft of RG-11 cable. This is a thicker (lower loss) cable (3/8 inch) and the low-band line loss for 100ft of RG-11 would be about the same as 50ft of RG-6.

Q: Questionbooster is listed as 4G signal booster. What happens if your carrier is 5G?

• A:Answer 4G and 5G are different wavelengths, so this wouldn't boost 5G frequencies. All 5G carriers still support 4G at this time. This would boost their 4G signals making them stronger. Most 5G phones automatically switch between 4G and 5G based on the stronger, faster signal. While you may not necessarily have 5G speeds, this would ensure that if your 5G speeds were reduced based on poor connectivity your 4G would still remain fast and reliable.

Q: QuestionWe use Straight Talk renting a Verizon tower 2 miles away. 4G LTE drops to 1G. We only get 1 bar inside house, more outside. Sometimes it goes straight to voicemail without ringing or drops calls. Will this work with phones using Straight Talk?

• A:Answer If you are allowed to mount the antenna on the roof and run the coax cable inside to your office, I don't know why it wouldn't. It needs a line of sight separation of 25 ft. or more.
